FRIENDS AGAINST CANCER
It is the new composition of the team Friends Against Cancer, which is now already participates for the 3rd consecutive year in Alpe d'HuZes. On Thursday, June 2nd, 2016 the team members from inter alia Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Zwijndrecht and Ridderkerk did the challenge to conquer the famous Alpe d'Huez in the French Alps. For the team it is not about how many times they go up the mountain, but for them it's all about how much more they can do together for other people. For them it is really important that they achieve nice things, because they are connected to each other by experiences.
The team have in common that giving up is not an option and that they use the sport to do something good for someone else. Each team member has their own backpack of misery. Next to the sporting challenge of concern to all members, they also hope especially to collect a lot of sponsor money for the KWF.
